I will be one of the authors/illustrators participating with a horde of other amazing and talented kidlit creators at the upcoming Bigfoot Kids’ Book Festival coming up in October. This is sure to be a fantastic all-day event. Hope to see you there!

Come draw comics with me on Saturday August 2nd in Sequim and Port Angeles!

I’ll be guiding attendees as you draw your own characters and make mini four-panel comics. I’ll be giving a short slideshow presentation on the ideas and creative process behind my middle grade graphic novels, and describe how my stories are inspired by my own childhood experiences. Then we’ll dive into some drawing exercises and create our own mini comics.

I’ll be joining Jennifer Mann to celebrate the release of her new picture book, THE RIDING LESSON and for pony play and story time at Toni's Ponies, a horse rescue in Kingston, Washington. This is a fundraiser event to help the Toni's Ponies Horse Rescue purchase the land they are leasing! Saltwater Books will be donating 20% of booksales to Toni's Ponies Horse Rescue. My middle grade graphic novel, HORSE TROUBLE, will be available for purchase and signing as well! Come join us!

SCBWI Illustration Schowcase at the Seattle Convention Center!

I have three pieces at the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) exhibit, which will run through July 15. There will be an official “opening” on April 6th with SCBWI members, friends and families for a meet and draw! I will be participating in this fantastic event. Hope to see you there!
